Did you hear, does anyone remember the version by The Nice on their album, Elegy. The musical presentation is way different from either Dylan or the Byrds. But the words carry through and resonate regardless of style and most importantly regardless of generation. |

Measure of the greatness of this tune when you think of the talent associated with the Dylan tribute version. McGuinn to begin, with Petty, Eric, Neil, Bob and finally George on vocals and Eric and Neil's unmistakenly different but wonderful guitar solos. And Neil pretty much borrowed the medley for Days That Used to Be on Ragged Glory. |
