Led Zeppelin were the original "unplugged" band.
So much power and emotion are in their songs, and they shine brilliantly on this one.

I don't know why, but this is, by far, my favorite Led Zeppelin song.

I've got that cover, but I dumped my blinder aquarium over. A cover sitting on moldy wet carpet doesn't hold up to well.

I would imagine it is John Paul Jones singing with Robert Plant. Jimmy Page really can't sing!

Check out the B side to this single...perhaps one of the best B sides ever. If you don't know what a B side is, go ask your parents.

Standard moldy oldy. I still like it.

I went to the prom with a friend and this was the first song played. We danced together for the first time. Later we left the prom as much more than friends. She was my first true love and I always remember that dance when ever I hear this song.

Thinking how it used to be,
Does she still remember times like these?
To think of us again?
And I do.

You always remember your first love and hold a special spot in your heart for them.

One of my fav Zep albums and songs-love the spinny thingy on the cover.

Yep, cuz they got a contract with the label saying the record company would pay for packaging and stuff...so they made them as fun and expensive as possible.

Finally I was listening when RP played this song and not the Big Head Todd cover :-)

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) you never heard this on the radio. It was always Stairway, Rock and Roll ect.Same stuff you hear on the radio now.

That was my hypothesis: correlates with the lack of moaning heard in the comments on this song!

I've loved this one ever since the first time I heard it. But I was born in 77 and wasn't around when Zep was. Was this song popular for Zep at the time? DId it get airplay?
