And you know how a goat having its throat cut sounds because......? |

This sounds like an outtake recording, experimental at best. It sucked in 79 and it still sucks now. |

"Just like the white-winged dove...." Take out the vocals, and this could almost be "On the Edge of Seventeen." Well, until the beat goes reggae. I'm really glad Sting's voice mellowed with age, because he sounds a little like an enraged cockatiel in this song.

I was just listening to this song this morning in my own library! |

I still love the version Sting did for his documentary of the same name - loud, raucous, and rollicking. In fact, I thought that whole movie was pretty good...

You can't beat a good three piece. The Police were a patchy outfit, but this is one of their best. Great arrangement not very often heard track. I Approve.

Strange thing, I was on hiatus from RP since 12 Nov 2009. I have been back two days. It seems like the majority of comments on songs are all super negative.
This one stands out. Seriously since mid-Nov of last year not one positve comment. Prior to that plenty and it has a high average rating. Did the world go bad in the last two months?

Sounds like Mr Sumner was having "post nasal drip" during recording. Is he saying "Bring on the lines"? |

Most excellent. And it benefits from (relative) underexposure.
