Nice sequence Bill.
Auntie Kate at the very top of her game. A truly wondrous album!

Okay, two 'Big Sky' songs. How about the Kinks for the trifecta?

Love Kate Bush. This came out my Senior year in college and fell in love with it and with Kate's music in general.

Okay, NOW I'm freaked out.
I'd been listening to "Hounds of Love" all morning, for four hours straight, and then decided it was time for some Radio of Paradise. Got up for some cola, came back, and "The Big Sky" is playing. I thought I was losing my mind.
Maybe I am.
Stop staring at me.

Ugh. This song was cruising toward a 7 and I was asking myself, "why don't I care for Kate Bush again?" Then along came the ending of the song and I was reminded quickly enough. Too bad.
amalia wrote:As for Miss Bush...some get her and others (you can include yourself in this bunch) just can't see the light she projects. Too bad for you, no?
I think I'll be just fine, though I greatly appreciate your patronizingly heartfelt concern. |

Have some respect for Rock Legends. She's probably been a major influence on rock. Still, I don't own any of her stuff either.
Well, I sure as hell do! Haven't bought any Eel or Ween or Hives yet, but I own a lot of Kate Bush. She's an innovator and a damn fine musician, and I love her stuff. This song rocks my world. Have a little respect indeed.
Doesn't RP have a kiddie table somewhere? |
