Excuse me? Do I see people comparing Kate Bush to Tori Amos here? Come on guys, clean your ears and listen!! Tori may be as weird and as musically gifted as Kate, but Kate succeeds in distilling her ideas into compact songs that work, not this lengthy arty pseudo-classic piano stuff Tori has been giving us. Of course there are great songs by Tori as well but overall - they play in different leagues.

Wow, pretty bad stretch of music. . .I need something really *cool* very soon or else something very bad is going to happen. Like more of this.

Uma Thurman says that she is an acquired taste as well. I am rather blown over in the best way by both Kate Bush and Miss Uma.

Ahhh, Katie, can't get enough of her! I still remember when I got this album as a teenager...

Wild woman.

Not my cup of tea most of the time, but I can see this being exciting 20 years ago.

Gross. I just can't get into her music. I think part of it is the way she sings. Not her pitch, but her voice.

Funny I was thinking quite the opposite. For me, Tori Amos is like recyled cardboard: strong, usefull, but a derivative.
Kate is an original. You either like her or you don't.

nice for this to follow "Glory of the 80's" by Tori Amos (again)

'Glory of the 80's' leading into Kate Bush? How utterly appropriate. (And I'm feeling not a little smug at spotting one of those segue thingies)

Bush said in an interview that she got a little drunk to record this. I love the image of that.
I love this album, too.
