First Moby song I've ever heard (thank goodness he "sold out"!) and remembered thinking that I could listen to it forever. Granted, I know that I can't listen to any song forever, but even after all this time this song still gets to me. I love those backwards violins.

My sentiments exactly! It's still an incredibly beautiful song.... Does anyone know where the video was filmed? Haunting.....

Yeah, I think it's a cover of some Pearl Jam song done in the late 80's. Very rare, but they still do it live sometimes....

"Run On" was done by Elvis Presley in 1966. I don't know it if it originated with him. It may very well have been an older gospel tune he picked up.

As you can hear on most of his tracks, he plays many instruments, but none of them better than a poor amateur...

I have to agree that his technical expertise is mediocre, but I still love the hell out of this song.

Absolutely, I either love or hate him depending on the song-crazy as it may seem.

I seem to still be in that bubble, although my .com employers are no more...

Great tune!

This is probably my favorite Moby song, most of the rest are fairly droney auto electronica feel. Only other one I really like is Run On, which I believe is a cover?

This is great cruising music. Windows down, bass up loud and driving really fast. Oh, yeah. Can't wait for summer!

My favorite Moby song is God Moving Over the Face of the Waters. I could listen to it more than this song.

Thanks, but when you're ten years out of college, you'll look back at the stuff you listened to and wonder "what was I thinking?"

And Moby's music would be among that.

sounds like it might be good for "on hold" music because it is quite calming...but i've got a sound machine that plays "crickets" and "bubbling brook," and i think i'd rather listen to that
