This just breaks me down everytime I hear it. The song and the album it comes from are one of the few recordings out there that trancend its genre and truly achieves artistry...

- be timeless AND perfectly emblematic of its time,
- AND hold such obvious appeal to listeners of any generation,
- completely satisfy the artist/genre's core fans AND those who usually prefer other genres
- give you a soulful groove, AND meaning, AND emotion...

then you have a classic that deserves a GODLIKE rating.

Having grown up in the Detroit area, I never knew how lucky I was to be exposed to the "Motown Sound", hearing this again brings back fond memories of warm summer nights, driving to a Tiger game, and listening to CKLW. Thanks RP
