I'm sorry my opinion doesn't help validate you as an individual. As a musician of 20+ years and someone very familiar with what was happening musically at the time of this release, I can say with certainty that there is nothing magic or brilliant about this. This is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to jump on the prog rock band wagon

Oh Great, another musician who moved to Sun Valley and knows it all...

Well, I must say I have not read a more uneducated comment on RP EVER! This is magic and brilliant. Genesis had balls back then. This album is a prog masterpiece. Timeless and beautiful.

I don't like to attack and be personal, but in this case I have to say, you're an idiot.

I saw them perform it in it's entirety with Gabriel in Amsterdam, 1975, in a beautiful old theatre. Soon after that they moved on to larger halls.

Ha, never occurred to me, but I can totally hear that. It's a similar technique to stuff on "Who's Next"

"Back in NYC" is missing from the RP playlist... it compares quite favorably with this tune.

This one goes back a LONG way for me, over 35 years. I was shocked when I first heard it here.

I would give a 8 for that song but I'll go with a 10 to represent my rate for the whole album.

Without question one of the colossal albums of the twentieth century. And so unappreciated.

This the original version and to really understand the song it is even better to understand the whole album concept..the MOST creative effort by Genesis, IMHO. Egos were put on the side and the blend of talents just takes over, even Enossifications by Eno are present.

Great version of a great song. I really like the medley off of the "The way we walk, Vol 2 the longs" CD. Miss the edge PG gave them in the early days.

After (almost) a lifetime of being a pretty hard-core Genesis fan, I finally bought this.

It's been said a million times already, but simply amazing.

Woldn't mind hearing 'Back in NYC' in the rotation, if it isn't already.

This is why I listen to Radio Paradise... The Shins next to Gabriel-era Genesis, very very nice

Good call on this one!!! Very witty!

That's a great song from a great album. I too love the old Genesis. Keep it coming. Would enjoy hearing something from PG's "Security" CD also.
