I will be there enjoying the show, grooving on the pentatonic scales....

That is wrong on so many levels. You should be sharing yours with your kids ... "teach your children well," and all that. |

Listening to this with the volume way down, I thought for a second it was The Black Keys. Like this a lot!

Sorry you had a bad experience (or were you being ironic?), I loved his pedal work. As far as what he knows, it may be different from what he shows. Saw him 3 years ago, was knocked out. |

Bill! How did you know I'll be seeing Mr. Trower tomorrow night? Thanks for this preview/retro! Despite others' comments about his live performances, if he's breathing and has his Marshall at 10, I'll be this close to heaven.

I saw Robin Trower last summer live at the Blues Rock Festival here in the Netherlands.
What a big dissappointment, he constantly uses his effect pedals and the poor guy only knows pentatonic scales. Further more, his singer (and i'm NOT kidding) had to use lyric sheets to sing the lines... Man, i felt really sad for these guys, with all the talent i saw that day, Robin Trower was really, really bad...

The "Bridge of Sighs" 8 track was that bright apple green color!
Pioneer Super Tuner in my '70 XR-7 Cougar.
Good times....
Trower is still around and still rockin'. His latest album, "What Lies Beneath", is quite good IMHOP.
Saw him perform live not too long ago. Great show.

Far out man! What a stab from my past. Remember like yesterday, in high school, on a field trip, in Phoenix, walked into a music store and found this on 8 track, Trowers first album, not this album. Yes, very Hendrix like. Excellent guitar licks. What ever happened to him? Thanks RP.

he's touring the uk soon, going to get tickets to that, he's still excellent. I do miss James Dewar's voice, just superb , one journo described it as "like listening to a tabby cat being strangled in a back alley." Or something like that
