must add that the ability to speak/understand portuguese, french, spanish, and english is a definite plus when it comes to Manu Chao.

Manu Chao deserves a second listen by all those naysayers. He released a live album a few years back consisting of worldwide concert footage semi-edited into one jam session. It's a shame he doesn't care to play north america.
