My one tiny complaint about RP is that alternate mixes of songs aren't identified as such and the album that the original studio mix appeared on is usually listed instead of the actual source. Otherwise, love RP ! ...and the Eurythmics. |

That dry almost spartan sound, not overshadowing the lyrics but underlining them. |

Ah, the 80's...robotic drums and dinky percussion.
Still, that voice.

I agree. And Annie, with that bright orange crop of hair, the mens suits and the dominatrix getup were so cool to my 2nd grade self. Oh heck, they still are! Go Annie!

Why doesn't she say "this"?
I always thought it was "these" - because that's what she says!

Yeah - I think the original LP cut has more of the raw feel that attracted people to them in the first place.
This? Too discoey. |

IIRC, this is the Sweet Dreams '91 remix by Giorgio Moroder. |

Definitely RP stuff!
Can't quite figure out if I prefer the original over this version. Not that it matters anyway; Eclectic is the key here.

Finally! Other than that tune from LOTR, this is the only other Annie Lennox/Eurythmics tune I've heard on RP.
For a band with as extensive a catalog as they, this is simply unacceptable.
Most likeable, if not excellent.

Depending on my mood - this song is either very positive or so sad that I can drown my sorrows in all of its melancholy splendor. I guess it's chameleon nature makes it a great song.
