I immediately liked this song as I heard its first few bars on the radio when the album came out. Still like it as much today. Timeless. Good stuff from the Cure.

And this song is a big reason that work is so complete. It gets the body going in a different way than anything else, with that insistent and groovy bassline. This is what was missing from Bloodflowers--nothing there has this kind of tempo. There are a few songs that are more brooding than others, and Watching Me Fall (the Japanese whore song) is very crunchy. But it doesn't groove, and nothing really "rocks" on there. There is one song, calling Coming Up, that was released only on the Japanese version of the album, which would have filled in that gap. Otherwise, Bloodflowers is almost as complete an album as Disintegration.

I think we can also thank Dave Allen who produced the album. With a resume of Gang of Four and Shriekback, he was the right person to steer the creative process.

I can't listen to any song off this CD without thinking of the South Park episode when Robert Smith walks into the sunset at the end, and Stan cries, "Disintegration was the coolest CD EVER!!!!" See? Even cartoon characters know what's good.

As far as Cure albums go I think that Disintigration is probably their most complete work. This is probably my second favorite song with Disintigration being my favorite. I would like to see some of their songs from Pornography especially Siamese Twins or One Hundred Days played every now and again. Nothing like the Cure at their darkest to make your day complete.

This is sooooo terrible, like anything the cure ever did I guess (well, the things I know from them, and that's more than enough). :???: :(

undoubtedly one of the cure's sexiest songs, considering they have such an incredible library. robert smith is definitely one of the creative musical geniuses of our time. seeing them in concert is mindblowing. Being able to rock out and do it with incredible precision and musicanship, as well as being visually gorgeous.

I loved this album when it came out, and still listen to it on occasion. Maybe I'm just biased towards this band, but the whole Disintegration album has held up remarkably well over the years.

Great song. Along with "Love Song", the best song on the album.

I'm a huge Cure fan and all, but... what is this doing on RP? I mean, i understand that RP plays all sorts of rock, and i get that the Cure are definitely rock, but after a couple days of listening, this is the first time i've heard anything dark. Kinda jarring after all the American rock&roll.
