Glad to know I'm not the only one who heard "Fly Me to the Moon" in this.

weird that this was maybe cool back in the day and now it's just pretty bad .... i love Santana but this is pure "smooth jazz" almost ,,, but then .. if this is the original ... then i respect ..

I remember when I danced to this years ago and was shy and beginning to love for the first time.

Knew this was Santana w/o even looking at the screen. Whether or not you like the song, his tone and style are immediately recognizable.

Why, it's a perfectly cromulent word, and describes the track very well. Most of Santana's music, actually.

very possibly the best rock and roll album ever. only competition is sargent peppers.

it's called a ballad -- it's supposed to be mellow.

If you haven't played this song either during or after sex, you really can't understand it.

Just one of many boring santana tunes... - his old stuff was nice, but with the years he became very monotonous

elevator music. carlos has gotten a little too mellow with age, methinks.

Reminds me of "Close Your Eyes" - the melodramatic Buffy & Angel love theme from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Not necessarily a bad thing, mind you - I'm a big Buffy fan - but "Close Your Eyes" isn't on my list of favorite Buffy tunes.

B&R are probably from SoCal-
thus explaining the lean toward Latin music...

I do dig Santana, but this is not one of my favorites. Nice playing, but overall it's just a bit too "easy-listening" for me. :-({|=

I agree with Spieler. I don't like any Santana I have heard yet. This is different from most, but not therefore superior at all. I guess I don't like repetitive and soporificizing music. (Yes, I coined one word.)

Well... What you lack in musical taste, you more than make up for with your phantasmagorical locution, pussylover!

I add to the comments...a guitar full of soul and inspiration... introspection and latin ancient roots

Seconded. That is one of my favorites for both passive and active listening. Simply a beautiful album.
