Ohhhhh cool. I saw the B-52's live in the mid 80's on a riverboat in New Orleans. It was a really great show. This song reminds me of everything I liked about them.
Thanks,
Chris

You know, i alwys thought the B 52's were rather unique in their time....the keyboards, the hair, the music, everything. They were way-underrated I think.... |

This brings back memories. My friend and I were driving from Philadelphia to Gettysburgh in a car with a beater tape deck with no AM/FM radio. Somehow the repeat function got stuck and the only thing that we could listen to was this song over and over again for two hours. It's a sure way to drive yourself insane.
Still, I like the song.

But you can still see them on tour. Go to the Pollstar site and type in B-52's and see their itinerary for this summer. They still put on a great show. |

When this was released, I found it quite shocking! Now it's only good for a couple of laughs, especially, when he shouts "WELL SHE ISN'T!", as an answer to something that's not worth the least bit of shouting
For a short time a very inventive band, that used old elements to create something new and out of the ordinary. |

One of the great B-52's songs. I second Dr. Crane's commentary below. And fabulous memories for me personally. Dancing in the high gym during class cause the instructor let us play the record! Ah! :)
