An absolutely gorgeous song, and it brings back wonderful memories of the times I've seen BNL live.

Wow. Every time I hear a BNL song I haven't heard before, especially when it's a live version, I can't help but love it. Just something about the vocals and the music, it's infectious. And freakin' awesome.

The singer's voice always reminds me of Alison Moyet. I thought it was her at first!

As a BNL fan (from some of their original work), I was wondering if I'd ever get to hear them on RP, and was pleasantly surprised to hear this somewhat "alternative" track. In reading the comments, I have to agree that dismissing them as a novelty act or one-hit wonder does not do them justice. I may not like everything they've put out, but they are one of the most talented and fun-loving bands that I've had the pleasure of seeing live. You really have to listen to their music and lyrics carefully (sometimes repetitively) to get the full impact of everything they put into their songs; most of it isn't evident the first time around.

This was the first time I heard this song. I didn't catch all the lyrics but the song itself was pretty uninteresting and I didn't care for the vocal at all.

Over time, I think BNL have gone from being clever and inventive (in '94 when I first heard them) to a little too precious.

My ex and I got into BNL just after Gordon came out (still my favorite of all their albums), and I saw them 2x live before most of America was familiar with them via Stunt. I have to say, theirs was the most enjoyable concert I've EVER seen (and I've seens lots!) High-energy from beginning to end, with moments of sublime hilarity (their covers medley spoofing everyone from Prince to NSync-type boy bands) and then moments like this song, which still brings tears to my eyes. Please folks, listen to all their albums before you dismiss them as "one-hit wonders" or a "novelty act." They are neither -- just very talented and enduring!

Couldn't disagree more. Hootie was a one-album wonder. One of their biggest songs was a cover of a song by another Canadian band(54-40).

BNL has put out solid album after album since the very early 90s.
