Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, and Wilco are always a good choice. I've especially enjoyed watching Jeff and the boys progress to their current level of talent. And Jay will always have that distinctive, throaty voice as demonstrated so perfectly in this song.

I'd also love to hear some Jayhawks and Whiskeytown.
