I'm not knocking those bands, but I can turn on 3 or 4 stations at any time to listen to them.
When you're rating Morcheeba, Clinic, Elvis Costello (!?!??!), Massive Attack, Air, Sigur Rus and Beth Orton as Suck-O Barfo then I think this is just NOT the place for you.
Thank you, drive through.
LOL. Don't get out of the car, just keep moving.
Absolutely right, princess and deecee. (Hey, didn't the two of you once have a morning radio show?)
This works - as does Beatles, Dylan, Hendrix, etc. If you only want the classic rock, Paradise may not be your cup of tea (unless of course you are making booku contributions - just joking, contributions should really be to support what Radio Paradise IS, rather than to change it.)
You don't have to leave though. It would be GOOD for you if you could gradually loosen up those calcified music synapses so that you could get out and play instead having to just "drive through".
The reactions to this song are very telling, as is often the case with adventurous and "unfamiliar" stuff in Paradise. As someone said earlier, sit back and enjoy your "session". |

Love this stuff! Couple with enigma and you have a mind bending set. This is not music for wimps; requires attention and appreciation for originality, something totally missing from the "clearchannel" brand of mindless radio spectrum.
I gotta start sending you guys money for all the cds I'm burning ofthis programming.

One of the higher sheer number of ratings I've seen.
That's a good thing. :)

You're from Denver, right? You want to listen to 103.5 The Fox then. That's the classic rock station for you. The WHOLE POINT of internet radio is that you hear something you wouldn't hear anywhere else. Go back to listening to the Stones (but JUST the stuff that's safe)...

Bravo - remember there was nothing wrong with the fine art of 'sampling' when our Beasties made a living off it on Pauls' Boutique!
Actually, I bought the cd after hearing this song on RP... the whole cd is great. FP is the pinnacle, IMO, but good nonetheless. In fact, I played the whole cd at my last party from start to finish, and everyone else seemed to like it too. |

Good call Augie!
Maybe I should bump my rating up a notch. |

Wow. I wouldn't have expected an old Wayne & Shuster sketch would inspire a song, but I guess if they were to, it would sound something like this. |

Great to hear the Aussie boys on US Radio
...did everyone know they were from downunder???
The rest of the album is great too - "Since I Left You" was another single taken off it - you should look into that one - much more breezier than Frontier... |
