DB left most of his creative genius at the door of the studio for this album...my take

I don't care for the song but it's nice to hear Pete Townshend rippin' it on electric again.

I think very few Bowie albums are classic on release.. it takes time... usually a long time to get accustomed to his stuff.

IMHO, of course.
No, of course, an artist needs to suffer and die poorly |

I am not crazy about Heathen, in general.

I adore Bowie, but this is not one of his best. My favorite album is Scary Monsters, followed closely by the truly scary Outside and the one nobody else seems to like, Black Tie White Noise.

Definitely overplayed and not that good to begin with. |

Good song, but it's getting to be a bit overplayed on here....

I didn't like this song at first then I started to like it and then realized that it was being drummed into my head and I really didn't like it at all I was just familiar with it and if I had listened to it as if for the first I would be right back to not liking it...slow burn indeed...

I love old Bowie, but never could get into his later stuff. But this new album is pretty darn good. That's Pete Townshend on guitar on this song.

Some of the better Bowie to come out in a while.

Ditto. It's got that dark smile quality. Tony Visconti ain't no slouch, either.
Bowie looks like the ol' Thin White Duke on the cover. Over age 50 and still has excellent vocal control & expression. |

Don't ask me why... But I think that David Bowie and Tim Curry are some of the most sexy men ever.
I know! It's weird!
