A paean to atmospheric rock. Ethereal, yet heavy. Lots of reverb and tension, swelling. Good for a dark and cold Saturday Night. Very good use of strings to carry the song foward, instead of percussion. Innovative in Rock and Roll, that way...not much like it in the current scene.

This sounds like several minutes of void. When does it start? When does it end?
What does it try?

Everytime I hear this song, I think of the "Cruel Intentions" film, which I thought was great!

is that where they got the idea for the cool video for this song? (i thought it was just a biting commentary on stupid people and how not to effectively put up with them anymore) :!:

"Bumper music"? What does that mean?

It's the music played, usually on talk shows, to fill the time between the end of news or commercials and when the on-air personality starts talking.

The blend from "...built America" to this was excellent, and this is one of my favorite 'bop along while working' songs.

I just made an important decision and decided, to seek a cyber Buddhist augery, to take a hookum , from the next song up on RP, instead of randomly opening the Guru Granth Sahib, as a Sikh would. The decision involves a major move and change and the Verve trucking through life was highly synchronous.

You GO guys !!!
