One of their best.  Their first two albums, and probably this one especially, were just excellent.

The stuff they are doing now— sorta lame and soulless.
THIS, though, is great.  At least a 7.  I give it a 9.

Don't worry, plenty of us love/like Coldplay. I think they're one of the best, and Rush of Blood one of the top CD's of the past few years.

Funny how that happens sometimes.

I wonder if all of the Coldplay haters are just in denial, struggling mightily against the tide of their own emotional tsunami...?

This is one of those songs where, when I'm in a level-headed mood I can kinda scoff it off, but if I'm feeling emotional (like today) it has an affect on me and it's kind of hard to take. Damn emotions!

I never apologized to anyone for liking or disliking any artist. If you agree with me, that's great. If you don't, I certainly won't lose sleep over it. This is my opinion.

This is a good song by a pretty good band that has been picked on maybe a little too much.

Well put.

That's really nice to hear. Isn't it beautiful when songs can touch us in that way?

Well put ... and I agree. You have to find something of value in that peculiar melancholy that the missing of someone invokes.

Coldplay has spent, what, 8 years? trying to write a song as good as any of the slow ones on The Bends (Fake Plastic Trees, High and Dry, Street Spirit), and so far they've failed miserably.
