OMG that's terrible! Yeah, damn straight you can hate this song and the whole album.
(It's not my business to ask but I hope he's cleaned up his act...) |

Hadn't heard this in a year or two, and remember it being overplayed upon its release.
But hearing it now after such a long absence gave me goosebumps. Nice. |

My favorite NJ song ever. Amazing. This song yearns.
I hear what people are saying about mellow to the point of unconciousness, but I'm not buying it. It's just plain beautiful to me.

Yes! I appreciate her refusal to abide by commercial, mainstream standards, i.e. dressing like a whore and singing about "crazee boyz." Her influences are Willie, Dolly, and Hank, to name a few, and I think it's a miracle that so many people have taken a liking to her. Maybe there is some integrity left in our society. She's not my favorite, but I certainly respect her for doing what she wants. |

I understand where you're coming from. I have two albums but feel that they lack intensity. I like mellow music but it's too mellow even for me! It's not so much the songs but maybe the production and the restrained style of performing that I don't appreciate. I was hoping that Norah Jones would be more exciting in concert, but you have cleared that up for me. |
