Maybe you should try talk radio? Or something totally recluse, like building models out of matchsticks?

Just a suggestion! :D

PS Oh nearly forgot, PT are one of the totally KICK-ASS bands around these days. This is a perfect 10 for me!

As an American, I have to say that I totally agree with meloman on this one.

RP has a pretty big boner for Porcupine Tree apparently.

I saw PT last year and got first wind of them through RP. They are awesome, intense, creative genius. I also remain amazed that they are not getting any airplay in the US. Bad management?

You mean airplay on big stations? Well, releasing CDs on your own label usually doesn't help... Anyway, their following is growing steadily (quite rapidly actually). A few years ago a saw them in small venues with just a few hundred people, last year they played several times in front of 2000+ people.

Anyway PT gigs are AWESOME. They're probably not the most interactive of bands, but their sound and performace is always top notch.

Great song from a great album. The opener, "Blackest Eyes" followed by "Trains" is a great 1-2 punch.

Glad to see I'm not the only one going bonkers over this band's music. I was also turned to them through RP and already have a couple of albums on my Amazon wish list. Keep it coming, please.

I saw these guys in Portland late last year. I astounds me that they are not just huge in the states. Been gobbling up all their old stuff just as fast as I can get it. Fantastic tune.

It's not often that a band manages to really catch my ear the way Porcupine Tree have, all thanks to RP I'm glad to say.

For those that like the album cover, go to PT's website and you can download it as a wallpaper

Now why would they do that to the album cover...... :puke:

I saw them last night in NYC.

They played their collective asses off. The drummer, amazingly played every bit as good live as he does on the recording. (even the little pitched cymbals.)

robert fripp on the other hand, opened, and made "soundscapes" with his iPhoto collection looping in the background on a screen.

Sorta like "The Emporer's new Clothes" - dreary bullshitty music....

but then PT came on!
