Do lips POP open? Unless you're blowing spit bubbles?
Nice song otherwise.
Hey DJ, nice segue on the word "Fall" (from Yo La Tengo)

I can't help but think of Del Amitri when I hear this song, especially the "whoo-hoo-hoo"'s. A really nice song.

Hey Joyfulchristine -- you're not alone. I thought of Rod Stewart too.

Great new (for me) song on RP... I'd like to hear more from this guy!

The kind of song that can be rèally great, done live.

It's growing on me, too. In certain spots, his voice recalls Rod Stewart. Of course, Mr Paul's voice is much classier, but something of the range and tone still make me think of that old rocker. Am I hearing things?

This is great! My brother's a good friend and musical partner of Ellis Paul, and it's great to hear some of his tunes on here. I would also recommend "Words" or "The Ballad of Chris McCandless" off this album as well. Excellent stuff.

Great tune, but it's getting a little overplayed here. How 'bout other tunes by him?

I am married to a Maria (Marija) and can relate to her beautiful mess...

I gues it is better to have a sense of humour about it!!

i love this track - the interplay with guitar and organ always does it for me (Sheryl Crowe, Tom Petty etc.)
I am desperate to hear more by Ellis Paul but always miss it on the playlist.

Most excellent choice!! I just discovered this marvelous artist at the recent Woody Guthrie Tribute and fell in love with his voice and his music. This is a fantastic CD and now definitely one of my top 10. Nice guy as well. Ellis Paul Homepage More! More!
