I share and agree to all of this...When this came out, I was in LA visiting an architect buddy who lived in a WOW, stunning case-study house up on Edgeridge, up Turnbull Canyon, and his wife was with his girls down at his in-laws, we had the hot-tub going, the stereo blasting; the house was like a huge speaker system in itself...We had a big pitcher that was a jar full of Bombay Sapphire Martinis combined with a jar full of G&Ts (I was inspired, what can I say); I called that KILLER cocktail a "Rattlesnake," and sure enough, it bit us pretty severely. Some Maui Wowee was burning nearby. The city lights twinkled below, the planets and stars shone in the blue-violet sky, and the planes came and went almost directly overhead. THAT was how I got turned onto THIS... I'd heard their drony, dull IT WAS ALL YELLOW on the radio before but hadn't cared a whit for who had penned or whined it, but this, whoah, I knew right away that this driving, surging urgent rocking chiming open-chord thing was a keeper. By the time the disc got to Daylight I was ecstatic; by the end of A Whisper I was feeling downright transported. Sadly, the only thing coming anywhere close to the vital pulse and thrum they had then was maybe on a few tracks from X&Y — the guitar, bass, and drum work was abso fab in spots, but... and I haven't liked a thing of theirs since. In fact, all of Viva la Vida makes me cringe... Keep the good stuff coming — this long rocking stretch is sounding superb tonight! horstman(Syracuse, New York) | Posted: Apr 25, 2010 - 13:33 | < Reply > |

Yeah, this is the album that introduced me to this band. It is a good energy melody. I was dissappointed after this album sadly. Great driving and exercising song! |

So what is worse? Being gay or being a separatist? And how about gay separatists? Separate penal system? Isolated detention centres near Ungava Bay? Western Canadian males are cringing with fear. Show some empathy! |

So keep telling us how gay Coldplay is, gay this gay that— telling us how gay you are. Frankly we don't care, it doesn't bother us that you are gay, since there's nothing wrong with it anyway.
