you better stay away from Greco-Roman statuary.

You're kidding, right? I might think you were serious if it were a real person and you could see the red of their eyelid and the exposed eyeball, but in this case it's so stylized as to be complete fiction. You'll see worse in a kids book.

Of course just for you, perhaps they could have a "safe-mode" setting that automagically hid cover art and censored the songs for "offensible material".

Looks like The Corinthian from Sandman. (Comic book series.)

Porcupine Tree proves that there is fresh music to listen to. Sad to me is, there are so many killer bands and musicians out there, it is impossible to find them all .Thanks to Radio Paradise to uncovering some .

That is the scariest damn thing I have seen in a LONG time. If I can't sleep tonight, I am finding you and blaming you. Gah!

This is an incredible track!
I'm buying this and then putting the cd in a blank cd case in case my 10 year old stumbles across the picture.

First heard this band on XM. They did a couple of live performances for them that are just outstanding. They released CD's on both shows, but they are near impossible to get.

This song is definitely the one that attracted me to the band. This album is disturbing though. A concept album about a serial killer? It rocks, but it's not something I'd play on a first date.

I agree completely. RP has expanded my musical horizons so much. Almost all of my new music purchases are a result of what I hear here. This Porcupine Tree album is among my favorites. And before listening to RP I never even heard of them!

Speaking of Muzak (but otherwise completely off-topic): Very interesting article on the company in the New Yorker the other day.
What I found interesting is that Muzak puts out very little "elevator music" any more. They customize the music mixes for customers to match the mood they're trying to create - sounds like it could be a cool place to work. The article name-drops a pretty wide variety of artists, from Sufjan Stevens to Mötley Crüe to dZihan & Kamien.

Gorgeous. Cover pic keeps scaring me from buying the album, but I'm going to steel my nerves and do it. Just wish it hadn't taken me til 06 to discover PTree. Sigh. Better late than never. Thanks RP.

I absolutley refuse to look at that hideous cover art.

The song's not bad though.

PT has been growing on me ever since initially hearing them on RP. With the exception of a few songs they are pretty darn good.

I thought it was just a defect in my CD, but apparently, in the background of this song there really is a point where it sounds like the ping of a computer popping up an error message

Do you wish to continue?
Yes_______________No

It's an enhanced CD. There are extras on it your PC can access. Ask a computer geek friend to help you. ;-)

Still my nominee for prog rock band of the 00's. Excellent tune.
