This is one of my favorite songs. Don't ask me to explain why. I almost don't even want to know why. It's just great. I like to analyze a lot of music, but I'll just sit and enjoy this song.

Bought this on the strength of this song. The whole CD is strong, as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to check out later stuff, too.

Good, good stuff. Harmony, melody, rhythm... all that good stuff! (Pay attention Radiohead.)

Wow, 10.99 at Amazon! If you don't buy this album at that price, you're out of your mind.
A great song, and made even better if taken in with the rest of the album.

Can I just say again how much I love this band? Thanks RP!
What I really love about PT music is that it reminds me of the Rabin-era Yes music....strong guitars, serious songwriting, and best experienced as an album than a single. |

I really like this. I can hear the Rush similarity, probably because of the play between the bass and drums. I also hear Yes during the Trevor Rabin years. |

Yeah, that's the impression I get off of him. Going to their webpage and seeing his photos, it makes me wish he didn't seem so... pretentious is too harsh... but... (I mean look at this one for crying out loud!) But then, the band started with a huge and fake history, so maybe it's just an inside joke. |

Saw Porcupine Tree in Athens, GA Friday night. They sound great live. Their fan base, at least in GA, appears to be more interested in their heavier side and not their more melodic Pink Floyd side. The lead singer has an odd british stage presence. He seems to take himself too seriously in an artsy way. The drummer is great and often plays around the beat. The bassist seemed to enjoy the show along with the audience and played his fretless for most of the show.
