I think this is a very pretty song and I just couldn't help but mention that those are some mighty big words for a person using the name s-curvy
Main Entry: scurvy2scurvy Function: adjective : arousing disgust or scorn : contemptible , despicable <a scurvy trick> Etymology: 2scurvy Function: noun : a disease caused by a lack of vitamin C and characterized by spongy gums, loosening of the teeth, and a bleeding into the skin and mucous membranes
S-curvy wrote:
Excelsior, you're such a whiner. Every last one of your comments that I've seen take on an air of feigned insight and superiority. NNOT!!!! You just can't figure out that this is all subjective, and like bung-holes, everyone has one; yours just seems to be pimplier and farts much louder than most others. I just can't help myself here, but I came across something that fits you way too well: Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) - ex·cel·si·or /ɪkˈsɛlsiər, ɛk-/ Pronunciation Key - -noun 1. fine wood shavings, used for stuffing, packing, etc. 2. Printing. a 3-point type: a size smaller than brilliant. Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) Based on the Random House Unabridged Dictionary, © Random House, Inc. 2006. So what are you today besides pissy? Are you wood shavings? Stuffing? Or maybe 3-point, which by the way is extremely tiny, verging on illegible without an aid? We think you're a masochist because you continue to listen to RP, which after reading your many negative comments and the tilted distribution of your ratings, clearly shows that you hold most all that you hear on this station in the highest disdain (a.k.a., your favorite ratings are 1's and 2's). Come on smart-mouth, go start your own station or find something else to listen to, but for the greater good, GO AWAY or figure out that your comments appeal to you and you only and might be better if left unposted! I suppose we could just ask Bill to automatically make your comments what they are, excelsior as in 3-point. |

Gee, doncha think that's kind of harsh? After all, the guy mostly plays weddings and stuff. I've never heard him sing, but it seems doubtful that he'd have much of a career if his voice is as bad as you say it is. Perhaps someone else cares to check him out: http://www.guitarsolo.com/

I LOVE THIS CD...very musical...conceptual, etc. I wish the bass line on this tune was electric (i.e., played on a guitar) rather than a synth. However, it is still great. If you have not seen the FLips play live then you owe it to yourself to check them out. Quite the weird, kick-a$$ party! |

Yep. Truly amazing, the layers upon layers of sound in this song is what calls me back, time and time again. "What is love and what is hate....? Why? Does is matter?" Also this song tells a story. Rare today when songs do such. My mind wanders with incredible, vivid imagery when listening to this song. |

I don't get this band. The critics rave about them. They've never 'connected' with me for some reason. I even saw them live. I think Alex Chilton or Jon Butcher opened for them. It was late. I dozed off during the Flaming Lips. Maybe I'm too old for this, but Wayne Coyne's no spring chicken himself.
