Look--you will NEVER hear this on commercial radio. And it doesn't get heavy play here. So calm yourself, take a deep breath, and see if you can locate your sense of humor.
I'm very pleased that you'll NEVER hear this on commercial radio and my sense of humor is not necessarily linked to annoying noises ;) |

And, furthermore, that's some of the most casual bass plaiying I've heard in many moons- the talking horn is too cool to believe.

Jim's Big Ego rocks! Canadian (I think), intelligent, anti-pop.
Their website is www.bigego.com- very snazzy- "Stress" is my favorite song, but "Angry White Guy", and "She's Dead" are really good, too.
Yeah! Right on! Just keep diggin' up the arcana!

We listen to RP all the time. We are an advertising agency in the Netherlands and we think Jim's Big Ego is OK!

You naysayers get too philosophically attached to your ideas of good music. This is just music, not good vs evil. Have another cup of coffee and lighten up.

The rhythm of the patter reminds of The Tubes' "What Do You Want From Life?"

I bought the album after hearing this song. Big mistake. All other tunes are down tempo, and overall uninteresting, IMO.

my first thought - "did i tune in to the review channel stream"?
this is kinda interesting to hear once, annoying any more frequently than that.

I absolutely love this, in levels it is difficult to express. So I'll just wiggle my butt and dance about the warehouse.

Between this song and their rendition of "Feeling Groovy," my day can be made that much lighter.
Play this more often! Get the rights to "Feeling Groovy" -- it's awfully fun.
