but swing a cat by the tail in public and you'll get arrested...hehehe...I like Neil's voice. |

Take your pick. For instance, I imagine there are several kinds of these boats
operating in Florida. The important point for me here is it's some kind of
inexorable authority that you can't get away from, a messenger of fate maybe?
What the 22 and/or his family did or didn't do is also beside the point. Maybe
they're drug dealers or gun runners or makers of moonshine or (fill in the
blank). Whatever they did, the time has come to pay some terrible bill.
Well said. |

Wow...that's hilarious. First, that those two have great voices is funny.
Also, you pretty much insinuate that only crappy corporate shlock music comes with great voices. And that you only like non-great voices. Congrats, man. |

I don't get it either. Neil's songwriting and playing is exemplary, that's what I listen to, I'll take it with his singing voice anyday.

All the compliants about Neil's singing is a mystery to me.
Another great singer/songwriter, Bob Dylan can't sing either. Paul Siebel, a lesser known but also great singer/songwriter also had questionable singing skills.
Need we mention Tom Waits?
Rock on Neil - one of the few who has never sold out!

I always sort of viewed this as a "period" piece, like taking place during the Civil War. Kind of like "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" sort of feel to it. |
