Hi! Didn't know this Trio.
I am jazz listener and I specially love piano trios.
Thanks Bill

oh! you all have to know that I am also a Prince fan and that this saturday I am flying to London to see him.
Aftershow included!!!
A: Being a jazz fan and not knowing Vince is like being a rock fan and not knowing who the Beatles were.
B: Prince- talented maker of bad music.IMO
Never really liked his stuff, but at least when I got to hear it it is done well most of the time.

Sadly you and I are in the minority here. Vince Guaraldi is the #1 reason I don't listen to RP very much anymore. Bela Fleck is #2. I'm sure they're musically gifted and all, but I just can't stand listening to the results. And inevitably if I listen to RP for more than an hour I'll hear at least one of them. This time two. Argh.

Personally I have no problem with this piece of jazz, a bit on the noodly side but still fine. Bèla on the other hand can take a long hike off a short pier, epecially that horrid sax laden big country tune.

One of my faves from AM radio W-A-Y back when; a breath of fresh air, it was, mixed in there with all of the Bobby Vees, Bobby Vintons, Neil Sedakas, Neil Diamonds, Neil...

Acoustic double bass is heard so rarely now. Nice.
My new Shure earbuds are really letting the string vibes shine.

I can see how you might not like this, but how can you HATE it? Someone explain how this is worthy of vitriol! Me? It's an insta-10

Heathens, philistines, pearls cast to swine.

The offerings of Vince are manna from heaven – naysayer’s repent!

Did I say this before? I did. And I still think so.

Except I'll amend it to say "There is no day that a little Vince Guaraldi music can't make just a little better."

What a great classic jazz tune - it puts me in such a great mood whn I hear it. I am shocked by the complaints below - different strokes, I guess.

I remember listening to this on a little transistor radio as a kid. Always invokes pleasant childhood summer memories.

Sound quality is a lot better through a computer...
