So surprisingly annoying for a PG big fan.

Bill is playing the version of this song that rocks next, I hope. That would make a nice seque.

Wouldn't be that boring.
But I know what you mean, heard this too in the middle of the song. |

anything by PG is godlike (with the exception of sledgehammer and big time). Never heard this version, thanks RP |

Peter Gabriel couldn't sound more like himself covering . . . him . . . self than this. |

The original of this was nothing more than PG lapsing into self-parody.

I like it as a change of pace. Love the original, but it's fun to hear some variety.

Just me, or does this song a mash-up of Gabriel and Flloyd?
I like a handful of Pete's stuff, but if this is his current approach I'm dreading "In Your Eyes". Heck, I'm dreading that song with or without a remake.
Anyway, this is boring.

I will say that one of the reasons I like Gabriel is that he's willing to screw around and experiment with his music so I give him full props for putting out stuff like this.
Indeed he does. |

I think he cares. But I also think there are plenty of other internet radio stations with a somewhat similar playlist that play less Peter Gabriel. I like the mix RP plays. If I didn't, I would go elsewhere.

The music Bill plays is posted by listeners just like you - if you want to hear something you like try uploading.

On a (ahem) positive note, I quite like Gabriel, his concerts were nothing short of an event, and his music and collaborations are sheer genius. |

It'd be even more awesome if Quiet Steam segued into the the Phil Manzanera band Quiet Sun.

given that it's mostly recent gabriel, I have to agree.
I've been a huge fan of gabriel since genesis but he seems to have lost his way more recently.
let's hear some of his early stuff - pre-so at least. |

Steam is my least fave Gabriel tune; this couldn't help but be an improvement. I do like a lot of his other stuff, however.
