Saw these guys (played this of course) in 1968 at what was the Singer Bowl of the old Worlds Fair, it later became the site of the US Open. That concert also included Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Good Memories!

I love this tune! Takes me back to late 60's when I was "coming of age." Back when the AM airwaves were filled with just about anything, from bubblegum to heavy stuff, to soul, to pop. I became obsessed with music!

Songs like this make me wish I had come of age in the late 60s instead of being born in the late 60s. Listening to them, I realize I missed out on so many colorful, eye-opening, magical experiences. Coming of age in the early to mid 80s pales in comparison.

That driving 'time' mantra... Took me back to the days of campus sit-ins. I remember there was one at Chico State in 1975 leading to some arrests when I was but a lad.

Takes me back to my Austin days...The Gourds opened up for Willie Nelson at Stubb's BBQ (a great venue, standing in the gravel) and played a 10 minute version of this song a la Dead/Phish Jam session. The song is *ok*, but The Gourds treatment of it was stellar!

Ahhh, a good old college song. And it still sounds pretty good, despite the passage of time that came (gulp) 35 years ago.
