I'm listening to Annie and not you critics of Neil, Annie and the excellent resulting product. I'm happy...wish you were too.

I usually love her voice, but this sounds like amature night at some sleazy bar.

Knowing Bill G repeats play blocks, and knowing that this song is almost over, I'm bracing myself... OH NO! NEIL! Uhg. Get me outta here!!!

I tend to agree. Bill is on an interesting cover thing tonight, and this is one of those "I like it, but give me the original" things.

Gotta agree, Queue, that FWS version excelled.
Loved the David Crosby numbers on it, also.

I've always liked this song. I think my favorite version is on CSN&Y's "Four Way Street." Raw and live and stripped down to nothing.

This is an interesting cover, but I think I like it better with Neil at the mic.

And Neil isn't whiny and screechy? Good lord! I respect Neil as a songwriter, but I can't stand listening to him sing.

Aw, crap, the song's over, and now Neil is singing something. Time to switch...

Sounds manufactured and mechanical in comparison to Neil's version. The pain is missing.

absolutely haunting version...Annie Lennox nails it, and without bringing down Neil one little bit.

I guess it does sound like Neil if he had sexual reassignment surgery! No offense intended ladyj. I just don't hear the resemblance.

This is actually the only song I do like by Annie Lennox, save for the Eurythmics first hit, Sweet Dreams.

I've never heard this until today. Nice. At first I thought it was Neil. She almost has the same pitch. The first time I ever heard this song from Neil was live from the 1971 bbc concert I saw on tv (which I have now). I really like how his guitar was tuned.

It's actually from her 1995 album Medusa, which is all covers.

Yay! One of my uploads got played. I love Niel Young, and it is refreshing to hear his amazing lyrics in a different style.
