One of my favorites by the Reverend. Thanks, I needed this about now! Dancing at my desk...

This is great!

Voice, Lyrics, Horns - but hear that organ. Playing that instrument takes more than a run-o-the-mill pianist.

Always surprised to hear this in the rotation.  Seems like there are others Al Green songs that would fit in better with the RP vibe, IMO.  But being a big fan of his, I'm not going to complain about hearing anything by him!

Did anyone catch President Obama's version of Let's Stay Together?  He is pretty good.
I know I'll be voting for him.

First Bill gives us the doctor, then two men who call themselves Jesus & now redemption...love this song.  No wonder, it was my ring tone when ring tones were cool!

this is sooooooooo tired & abused as a commercial jingle.. could definitely be set aside & revived in 5-10 years.

In the early to mid 70's, it was the going trend for cover art. Along with hetero androgyny. Witness Texas Blues legend Edgar Winter, brother of Johnny, below
