Love this song.

Makes me think of a Senorita wearing a slinky skirt with slits up the side, wearing Floris perfume and black FMP's.

Everybody watching, ang drooling.

I definitely second the DY. Maybe something from "Hilbilly Deluxe". BG, I heard you once say that if country stations played more music like (some roots country artist that I don't remember, like Hank Williams or Patsy Cline), then you would listen to CW stations more. DY definitely knows his roots and he can rock.

I'll third the Dwight Yoakum nomination.

Cheesy indeed, but still kind of catchy. At least they don't really sound like anything else I know of. with the mexican influence and all.

but yes. cheese. all of it. but cheese is good sometimes.

That's nacho cheese!

By the way, I think it's great. Gave it an 8 I did.

Nope. Byrne is brilliant, but derivative, not foundational. He borrows liberally from the likes of the Mavs, not the other way round.

This is a great shuffle beat, laid back song. Great horns and I really enjoy the feel...Los Lobos meets Roy Orbison....

Hey, get over it! I'm still chair dancing, and Bill can play whatever he wants. Just because it may be played on another station does not make it an anathema here.... GO BILL GO!
