Nice toe-tappin' band. But I'm not sure I would call it country. Tex-mex almost, maybe? The Iguanas crossed with the Fabulous T-Birds?

What a great song! I downloaded it (legally) from the Apple music store immediately after first hearing it. I love the positive twist on love lost (a country cliche), and happiness found.

Yeah! They warmed up for Mary Chapin Carpenter once, and "grabbed" me with their style. Their CD is one of the few country ones I own...and I get to see them in Austin this weekend!! Woo-hoo!! I was surprised to find that the lead singer was Cuban/American. He put out a Latin album, but it just sounds like Latin with a country accent! |

Great song, great band. When my wife first told me "you've gotta hear this new country band I just heard on the radio" a few years ago, I was pretty skeptical - I usually hate country. I wouldn't exactly call this country, but it's amazing music whatever you call it! Yeah, and I, too, love the Roy Orbison influence.

I love the horns in this song. The guitar reminds me of 50s type music. The voice reminds me of Chris Isaak.

Great Band.....and your correct, the bio on the CD jacket tells about a major Roy Orbison influence. This track is off the Trampoline Album, but there is another great CD out there called "Now We're Live". Really good stuff....
Thanks RP for accepting the upload, and holler if you want more of their stuff.
