I've always enjoyed Radiohead...never been a true fanatic like so many...but I now have heard this song twice on PR...it ROCKS....it's got a great vibe....cool beat....sounds like THE FALL dropped in for a jam session.

Agreed -- first couple of times I heard this here I was....uninspired. But now I turn it up to 11!

One of the better songs off HTTT...they played this one in San Diego...for the guitar solo (where it stutters), they had it synced to the large monitors showing Jonny and clearly programmed, making his image stutter along with the guitar...very original sound and effect.
Regarding those that have a hard time getting into Radiohead...for some, it may never come...that's cool. For me, it took quite a few listens to HTTT before I realized what a good album it was...my first 2 listens I almost gave it back. Glad I didn't.

I agree with redeye, I had bought a couple of their albums 5 years back, listened to them and filed them in a big pile of never listened to CD's. After hearing them here on RP, the songs grew on me a little more and more, I recently dusted those CD's off and that's all my son and I are listening to for weeks now, it gets better all the time, grows on you.

For me, Radiohead took multiple listens to appreciate. I have connected to the music on some truly embedded, subliminal level as of late. |

Seeing them open for REM back in '94 (after releasing The Bends) is what tunred me on to them. They were just so damn good that I had to listen carefully, and realize that Thom Yorke uses his voice as much as an instrument as a tool for delivery of lyrics. |

Hey, I was there, too! Pretty cool show, but the 12 hour drive there and back sure was a pain in the ass. Check out the video for this song, kinda neat... |

This album slowly grew on me to the point where I had to put it away, for fear of playing it too much! So I guess you could say I like it. |

I gave this album 5 or 6 spins the week it came out and although it was ok, most of it seemed excessively difficult.
I loved the Bends. I liked OK Computer, and loved Kid A. Amnesiac....eh.
So for the 2nd time I was a bit underwhelmed.
But then I gave it another spin or 2 last week, and found it was much better than I remembered. There are still a few tracks I don't like much, but for the most part, it's a nice album. :)
