Terrible song! At least it was not top 40 and I have never heard it before though, so it's all good!{#Wave}

I guess I live in outer outer Mongolia too (as another listener replied to you) because today was my first time to ever hear this song. Felt kinda neutral about it. Weird though to see all the comments and have never EVER heard it before. Wonder where I was?

okay tune... dated... and forgettable... but I liked them immensely then... oh to be young again.

Forgettable?  Hardly, one of the better bands (and songs) of the 80's.  I was young then too, 4th decade, saw them twice live, this song stands the test to time, I think.

Pavement did a cool version of this song too.

The is one of those songs that just lends itself to be covered again and again, not sure why.

Yes indeed, great tune, great movie!  Note on refrigerator at beginning (and forever in my mind!) — "WHERE'S DONNIE?"

Thanks, cohifi...Don't know what to believe here; all the crazy LATE admissions of radiation, contamination, etc. and yet steadfast denial of any cover-ups, censorship, omissions.  When lies become a prevalent pattern, the truth shows indirectly...  The Earth shakes daily, nightly, reminding us the big one right under us is still way overdue.  The economy was not in good shape even before the triple disaster, and the mood is forever clouded since, and I doubt I will stay another year.  Hope all's well for you too!
