The comment about "tampon pop" is ridiculous. If that exists, what about Rogaine Rock?

My problem with the Be Goods is that I cannot abide tremolo voices - or at least tremolo voices that are constant. An occasional waver in the voice when the song calls for it is okay, but somebody who sings this way all the time just pushes a non-misogynistic button in me (I never liked Johnny Mathis either!)

I do like the lyrics though and the playing is likable enough - I would rather hear someone like Emmylou or Patty Griffin do it though. This is also the kind of music I wish Liz Phair was doing now.

Love this song. Reminds me how sensational it was to discover KPIG (where it was played quite a lot) and Internetradio in general (aaah, those first times!). Very passionate, direct, pure pop.

"What kind of people go to meet people / in a place you can't be heard or seen?"

Tee-hee...keep it light, folks

Like many other listeners, I first heard The Be Goods on RP. I've grown to be a fan of the band! As for the some of the strange comments...I think the music is sufficient answer. Laters.

Well, fools will be fools, but anyone with a decent ear and a liking for orginal material will ignore them. This band has heart and talent to burn.

Actually, I'm guessing he's used them elsewhere, hence the backup of fecal matter from the mouth and fingers.

Meanwhile, back in reality, a real nice song from a band that's new to me (pre-RP). :D/

Really like this song and band a lot - one of many that I purchased entirely because of airplay on RP - take that RIAA!

I usually like this kind of tune, but this one just got too repetitive for me.

At last you play the "best" Be Good Tanyas song. I first heard this song on KPIG about a year ago and I instantly became a Be Good Tanyas fan. I even followed them to SWSX in Austin this spring. I hope they do more songs with this high energy level in contrast with the slow harmony of most of their other music.

Thanks for playing this song in response to my request from some time ago. I am sending in my monthly support today.

Not being much into the local live music scene (not knowing the first thing about most bands I see advertised) I didn't know that this is a Vancouver band until I checked the AMG entry.

You GO girls !!!

A nice, melancholy chorus--I kinda like it.
