It's fantastic to hear the full 16 minute version of this playing, but to follow it up with Moonlight Sonata was a stroke of genious.
Keep it up!

I've spun it countless times and it still hypnotizes me. And get this, without assistance from chemicals.
Also, seemless segue from Traffic. Another brilliant job, Bill!

Right Dr H... And Sunday evening while doing taxes... and in the car driving to work Monday morning... and, well, pretty much anytime.

Sorry, but if you saw the Pink Floyd of the Division Bell you didn't see PINK FLOYD. |

Does anyone know what this song is about? From the words I was guessing a civil war. Any thoughts?

Some music just doesn't seem to age well, but this song hasn't lost a thing. I never get tired of early vintage Floyd.

Could listen to this album start to finish any day. And no, I am not a stoner. It's just beautiful (oh and the first album on CD that I owned).

Love 'em or hate 'em, the 30th anniversay SACD sounds absolutely terrific. Crystal clear and nice deep bass. You wouldnt know the recording was 30 years old

Love this set. Such perfect flow from song to song. DSOtM reminds me of Abby Road in the fact that you *must* hear the songs in order. No hitting the random button on these CDs. Maybe I'm just trained to anticipate the next song, but it always makes my brain skip when they just play one song out of the set on the radio.

You're not alone, most bands I'm not really into(lynyrd Skynrd, Bob Seger, Radiohead, Allman Brothers), There are at least 1 or 2 songs I like, and can see why someone likes them.. but...
I just cannot get into Pink Floyd no matter how many songs I hear of them

I love you guys! I sometimes forget that I can't shout I HATE PINK FLOYD from the rooftops in mixed company, sometimes people will get very angry at me. But the reason I hate this band is because of this very song. It is so pretentious and overdone and totally, completely annoying.
Hah, I know, "tell us how you really feel, Elena..."

I was about to say, "Dude, it's still on the Billboard chart!" but it's not. More fun facts about the 4th best-selling rock album of all time: The Dark Side of the Moon
dan bandmann & ole pedersen wrote:...the release of "Dark Side" on CD helped give the album a new lease on life. Its success was so great--legend has it that there was an EMI factory which did nothing but churn out "Dark Side" CDs--that it enabled the album's U.S. chart run to top 730 weeks.

Love PF. Love this song. However, would rather that you hadn't played it after a seemingly endless set of trippy, slow-paced music.
How about playing something loud and with a beat? Having difficulty staying awake here in my soulless office cubicle.
