I highly recommend the CD. Every song is amazing (great mood music, if you know what I mean)

"The Source" by A.F.T. is also excellent from start to finish.

Holy crap...is it the "geo-quiz" from "The World"? I had no idea that this was a real song. I thought it was just theme music from NPR and PRI. Ry Cooder, no less. Sweet!

I always liked that riff (always failed the quiz, tho), so it's great to hear more of it and find out who did it.

does NPR use this as an intro to one of their programs?

It appears Ry Cooder can do nothing wrong. This is yet another great track. And as usual, he knows how to keep his head down and not take over the stage nor the praise from the other musicians.

There are no circles in heaven, only squares.

(I am totally kidding... that pun just popped into my head, and it was "good" enough that I had to share. Yeah, I make myself laugh... what of it?)

I dig it. And it sounds like they copped the vibe intro from the Stones "Under My Thumb" in the middle there. Didja hear it? I thought Bill was fading in that song. Coolness

This from a person that gave six 1's to Jimi Hendrix and 1's to U2, Grateful Dead, Coldplay, Bob Marley..etc.. You get the picture!

This song is quite beautiful...Thank you

I didn't give it a "10" this time, but MY GOD! This is is primitive, modern, rockin, cool, way out, classic and a million shades of everything good in music. I can almost decipher the words by the use of the voice. Simply incredible. Oh, Ry, you rock, always did, always will
