"I know, let's put everything on the down-beat, so people with no sense of rhythm can nod their head to it easier...ok, yeah!" I love you guys, but RP get's turned-down every time this comes on. |

You're having trouble because the band was never signed and there's another band who didn't do their due diligence and are using the same name. This song is on "Set Me Free". "Leaving L.A." is a better record IMO. I own all of their recordings and saw them live countless times. They were a very fun college band comprised of some genuinely good human beings. Follow the link... The Zookeepers |

Yes, lots of trouble. The biggest roadblock was not wanting it. |

After the line-up changed in 2006 original guitarist Hilton Valentine reunited with the group for its 2008 tours. The group also included Red Young, Paula O'Rourke and Tony Braunagle. After Burdon lost the rights to the name, he formed a new band with completely different musicians.
Thanks crockydile! I love this kind of information. For those (few I hope) who have never heard of Eric Burdon and the Animals, they were part of the British Invasion in the 1960s and had a big hit with the song 'The House of the Rising Sun'. |

Right, perfect. And the result is some of the blandest pop-rock to ever be played on RP. |

Got to like this. Upbeat, positive and they sound like they are just having fun. If you can't enjoy the sentiment of this song I would think that total negative bitter attitude is the least of you problems.
