Mis saludos a todos desde la ciudad donde Piazzolla nació, Mar del Plata. Interesante interpretación pero algo pobre. Escuchen una de las tantas versiones originales interpretada por el mismo Gran Astor.

The blandness of suburbia is what hurts this version. Where's the emotion? |

When I heard this I was thinking that great Grace Jones record, Warm Leatherette. The song that sounds similar is Pars, I believe, not this. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Ok I nominate this as the worst segue in history. Michael Hedges to this.

And that means what? Because she's dead we should cut her some slack? A boring song is boring regardless of the present state of the recording artist. |

Grace Jones really did a great cover... Cold and nightlike, amazing (Jamaican) musicians as well, and a killer production... Of course, there's no accounting for taste... :) |

Mexico in general and Cozumel in particular are very dangerous for divers, from what I understand. I am a diver, and in our little "community" the phrase "diving in Mexico" is associated with careless dive operations and needless accidents. I have heard stories of people left behind by dive operations that treated divers like cattle (took on dozens of divers on a boat with no supervision and no system for making sure that they came back with everyone they went out with). It is sad that she decided to dive there, and sadder still that they have not caught the perpetrator. |

Boating accident--she was swimming, and a speedboat ran over her. Cozumel, 2000. :( |
