I'm fighting a cold, so instead of being outside fixing my car I'm trying to find old taxes cause the IRS sent a letter... and then this comes on. A three minute break from the world - good timing Bill!

Anyone else hear 801 Live version of Somber Reptiles in the first few notes of this? I had my hopes up for a second, but no matter - this is really good also.

I listened to this for about the 100th time in a month this afternoon.I don't mind hearing it yet again.
Next time Neil Young says he likes a band I won't wait years to check them out.

I've found that Radio Paradise sounds just as good in 2007 as it did in 2006.
Good to know that some things never change!
Happy new Year to everybody

How is that for a theory?

I like that hypothesis - a way to get some aggression out, perhaps?
I second this one, simply b/c I would just LOVE if that were the truth!

Fantastic. SY is a little before my time but I had a chance to see them on their Rather Ripped tour. At an average age of ~50 they still rock harder than most bands ever will.

Yep they are for once in a while in the mood listening.

Or back in the day and high maybe I could sit through an entire album...

Man, I totally agree. I hadn't purchased any CDs in a many a blue moon, yet I had to pick up "Rather Ripped" after being bombarded with great SY songs left and right on RP. I wasn't misled -- the album is great, and another Sonic Youth album may lie in my near future. . .
