I don't know. I kind of dislike the Cardigans for their light-footedness when it comes to their image and production, musical turncoats if you like - from ironic cocktail-jazz to icy ABBA-esque pop and now long-haired singer-songwriter rock - but I find myself tapping my foot whenever I hear them nevertheless. Guess I should think less and listen more. :)

I dont remember them as ever being lame, but I dont remember ever counting them as a band I really liked to hear until recently when I heard them on RP. Now I am really starting to like them and am going to be picking up some of there albums. Can anyone tell me if any of the early stuff is similiar to the most recent stuff? |

I'm a new listener to RP...just signed up so I could thank RP for playing a Cardigan's song. Their latest album is one of my new favorites.

It's a good album. Nothing exceptional, but pretty darn good pop. |
