I once saw this flick called "Roadracer" with David Arquette, Selma Haycek (sp?). Greaser film with a great soundtrack to it, which I belive was a fueled up Dave Alvin. Can anyone confirm this? I never caught it on the closing credits.

Dave Alvin is one of most underrated rockers of past 25 years.

Nice... Somewhat reminiscent of Chris Rea, and that can be no bad thing... |

This lyrics of this song resonate with me. It's interesting, sitting here programming all day and wondering what the performer's life would be like, if I were to be talented enough to sustain it.

This song is one of the ones that hooked me on RP. Definitely a sweet rockin' groove.

One of the best albums of the year. He's an incredible song writer and performer. This is different than most of his Blasters stuff, and mixes some rockin' blues tunes with some slower insightful stuff that's incredible. |
