guess bill reads the comments, and has a wicked sense of humor. the last song was Marvin Gaye's Hoidittruedagrapevine, and a commenter to that song posits that as long as we keep hearing it without a rest, it will be trampled underfoot in our hurry to live. good one Bill. why i keep listening to this, and reading the comments!

It's impossible to say for certain, but there is a distinct possibility that the lyrics may allude to sexual congress. That, or Plant really, really gets into working on his car. |

Spring 1975. I was 12 and this was their single. So Trampled was my first hearing of LZ. There are better and worst songs in their catalogue. Still Trampled remains as a special one for me...
