OMG! What a set of pipes!
A beautiful interation of an old Bobby Dylan catalog number.
Now if we could just get Sinead together with Pink and Avril ...

And sheesh, is this ever a much better version. Sinead gives the song the life it deserves. The original is the worst song on the original album... go ahead, give it a listen and tell me I'm wrong. |

Don't hate yourself, that was exactly my first few-seconds image.... |

This version causes a total work stoppage for me every time.
I'd like an MP3 of this song. Anyone know where I can download it?
Thanks B... love this set 2 covers followed by the Master Storyteller himself.
peace...

Whoa, ease up on yerself. As Optimus Prime once said, the human race is still a young one, it has much to learn. |

There's not enough Sinead Lohan on iTunes, either. As in none. How do I track her stuff down?

Lester - You and I agree about the quality of this rendition. Its quite excellent.
But I'm not sure why you disagree with covers "as a general rule". Along with Dylan, every recording of Beethovan, Bartok and their ilk are essentially covers. I delight in hearing the different interpretations. Covers are a way to acknowledge the quality of a song and the songwriter and gives new life to forgotten material. In this case, I'm not familiar with Dylan's version so will make the effort to get a copy. Keep this up Bill!! |

I don't agree. There's a whole industry of Dylan covers and many actually add something to the experience of the song. I first heard this song 40 years ago by Dylan and it's sure nice to hear it rise up again in another form. |
