This song is good once in a while...but after repeated listenings it gets tiresome. There is not a whole lot of substance here.

In parts it reminds me of some Robyn Hitchcock song, oddly enough....mainly the piano parts...

each time I hear this song I think for just a moment it is the U2 song, "The Hands That Built America". I must remember to play them back to back to hear the intros.

Somehow it remotely reminds me of "Das Boot".
Would love it even more if the sound was a it fuller.... it's a bit tinny at times.
Also, most people may not realise this, but these keyboard sounds are straight out of the box from some common synthesisers.... not much programming done. It's the easy way, but hey, it works.

this song reminds me of my mother,
she cried like doves all here life
till she drowned herself eleven years ago.
still a beautiful song.

Enough with the freakin' Yanna garbage. Sounds like a Yamaha keyboard demo.

it's a beauty eh? sorta reminded me of lateduster, speaking of which, I don't think I've heard any lateduster here, shame I no longer have the album, tough one to find to, small minneapolis band, great stuff, less synth than this, similar feel though.

This song is really getting over played...I listen everyday at work and it feels like i hear this song everyday or every other day...
Also like over 10 years ago I had a tetris like game called Jewels and this was the theme song to it...
I mean c'mon, how about more off of Wilco's last album instead of this song almost everyday...

This is Exhibit 'A' to the contrary, proving that electronic music can be more than the sum of it's parts.

Thought it was a remake at first...then Moby...then had to click to find out...it's OK as background music.
