I was wondering how long it was going to take to morph from Coldplay to The Alan Parsons Project....I guess Keane is the missing link, eh? |

Has anyone seen them live? I'm seeing them at Coachella next weekend and wondered if they have an additional member who'll be playing bass. The piano/keyboard player does the bass tracks on the CD.

I liked it before, and I like it even more now. Hold on, that's at least the second time tonight I've said that about a song. I must be in some kind of f-ing good mood! Now would be a good time to ask me for money, I guess...

What strikes me about this band IS his voice.
Sounds as good as any male vocalis I've heard.
Sounds great to me, almost as good as the singers in Procol Harum or the Strawbs. Rich, Clear and Distinct.

Not keen on Keane, huh? Sorry. |

These guys gained my respect after I saw them on SNL.
Big sound for piano and drums.
Not sure I could listen to a whole Keane CD straight through, though.

Short-sighted much? I'm sure you adore hours of guitar rock at a time. Don't see a correlation, eh?
EDIT: I just checked this guy's highest rated list, and it's filled with piano-laden tunes. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? I LOVE the piano on this album.

Well, maybe if you try listening to it again? Sometimes, after you've listened to something two and a half times, you become musically redisoriented. |

Nice opening to the song. Perked me up after the dismal bore that overcame me from the song "My Mermaid" by tricky that came before it.
The more I listen to this Keane song, the more I like it.
